Surprise Camping Trip :)

Today at my friend's excersize class, my mom called and said "Hurry and come home. We are leaving for camping in an hour and a half. So i hurry home and get ready. I had NO idea we were even going, so I had to shower, pack, eat breakfast, help my brothers pack, and double check my own packing. So for the next two days I will be livin it up in the great outdoors.

Merida!

Tonight we had a special birthday dinner for my little brother with my grandparents. Just before he opened his presents, my Grandma said: We have something for you. I wasn't expecting anything {It wasn't my bday after all}. Then she pulled out a Merida {the princess on the movie Brave} Barbie doll. Technically, yes I am too old for dolls but I am almost cried from excitement. She will be on display, in my room, safe in her box.

I'm back!

Hey cuties! So, I just got home from lovely trip last night. Utah was beautiful! It was so nice to escape the annoying heat and see waterfalls, go on hikes, and do that kind of stuff. I would never want to be outdoors in Arizona {because it's too darn hot} but in Utah, you can frolick in the fields all day.

My grandparents have a cabin in Sundance which
is in Provo. If you are ever in Utah you
should defiantly visit Sundance.

Wizard Wands!

So, at Girl's Camp we learned how to make wands. Let me tell you, they are soo easy and fun to make! My brothers went crazy when I showed them mine. Here is how you make them.

What you will need:
Hot Glue Gun
Chopstick
Spray Paint

Step 1:
Get a chopstick

Step 2:
Heat your hot glue gun

Step 3:
Have 1 person hold the chopstick with their index finger on one end and and their other index finger on the other

Step 4:
While Person #1 {the one that is holding the chopstick} is simultaneously holding and slowly turning the chopstick Person #2 will add glue to the chopstick

Step 5:
Keep putting glue until satisfied

Step 6:
When glue is completely dry, add any color of spray paint. {I did pink & gold w/ glitter}
Optional but the wands look a ton better if they are colored

Step 7:
When paint is dried, you're ready for a wizard battle!
